Cello Foundation offers a unique blend of traditional orchestration and contemporary electronics, featuring 20 playing techniques and built-in sound manipulation effects. With an XY pad, you can blend up to 4 techniques at a time, including your own sounds, and apply global sound manipulation effects. For even more creative flexibility, the secondary effects processing page allows you to shape and apply a vast collection of sound manipulation tools per individual playing technique. Deep Sample Vol.1 – Cinematic Cello, an unprecedented collection that pushes the boundaries of sonic experimentation. This cinematic sample pack showcases a unique blend of one-shots and loops for the cello, expertly produced by Alexander Painter using a variety of expressive techniques, both tonally and percussively. As well as writing his own film scores, he regularly produces musical toolkits for other composers to use in their soundtracks. This sample pack mirrors these kits; filled with morphing, textural pads, rich swells, and percussive rhythms that would sit equally well in trailer music and songwriter production as they would in hip-hop and drum n bass. As a recording artist and live performer Alex has toured the world with a number of different acts, regularly collaborating with artists such as Orlando Weeks, Gazelle Twin, William Doyle, and Tony Njoku. Alex is also a co-founder of experimental DIY record label Anti-Ghost Moon Ray.
Simple like one of grandma’s cakes. Simple Cello blends the same warm, natural ambience together with the engine of Venice Modern Strings. While sampling Simple Cello we strived to achieve the core features that we would like to hear in this instrument: a singing, intuitive, intelligent legato with realistic transitions as well as a lively performed dynamic. We hope you’ll appreciate the minimalist nature of this library. Similar to Simple Violin, Simple Cello was sampled with just one true legato articulation with full sustain note after the legato in the magnificent hall of Pietro Pasquini in Crema. It features one staccato articulation as well as polyphonic legato and rebowing for added versatility and expressiveness.
